    On April 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 17th opportunity in 9 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to Fire-Rescue Company 5 at 2710 Fairground Rd. Goochland, VA 23063 or West Creek Emergency Center at 12720 Tuckahoe Creek Parkway, Henrico VA 23238. The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles, or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
