Goochland County based Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery goes International

Goochland County Economic Development - Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery - 1st Shipment to the Nether

From the fields of Goochland County to the shelves of the Netherlands – Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery has gone International.

What better way to celebrate August as craft beer month, than with Lickinghole CreekCraft Brewery’s first shipment of beer leaving the farm on its way to the Netherlands!  International distribution is possible thanks in part to USA Beer Import being introduced to Lickinghole Creek by the Commonwealth of Virginia and Governor Terry McAuliffe.

Based in the Netherlands, USA Beer Import aims to bring the best American craft beers to Europe.  The first shipment of beers includes Heir Apparent, Coconut Delight, and Magnificent Pagan Beast.

The accomplishment of international distribution follows Lickinghole Creek’s recent announcement on May 26, 2017 of major expansion plans in Goochland County.  The plans include expansion of a 50,000square-foot production brewery that will house a state-of-the-art brewing system and packaging line.
