[ARCHIVED] Tucker Bark Dog Park Ribbon Cutting at Tucker Park - Monday, June 17th at 6 p.m.

Tucker Bark Dog Park Ribbon Cutting - June 17th

Join Goochland County as we celebrate the opening of TUCKER BARK DOG PARK on Monday, June 17th at 6 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

This new amenity located at Tucker Park at Maidens Crossing (1300 Maidens Road) is the result of a public-private partnership between Goochland County and Goochland Pet Lovers.  Tucker Bark Dog Park will offer a fenced in area for dog owners to allow their dogs to run leash-free.  It is supported by the generosity of the Richard S. Reynolds Foundation.

Goochland Animal Protection will be on hand at the ribbon cutting with some of the dogs they have that are available for adoption.

For more information, please contact Goochland County Parks and Recreation at (804) 556-5854.  (In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to Tuesday, June 18th.)
