VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from September 28 - October 4, 2019.

Two projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.

I-64 east/west between Route 288 (mm 175) and mm 224 - Pavement marking - September 29 - October 3

There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east/west between Route 288 (mm 175) and mm 224 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 29-Oct. 3 for pavement marking.

Maidens Rd. (Rt. 634) over Courthouse Creek - Bridge work - Through fall 2019

Maidens Rd. (Rt. 634) will be closed over Courthouse Creek continuously through fall 2019 for bridge work. Use posted detour route. More: http://bit.ly/2ZIPVKx
