Route 288 Northbound Hard Shoulder Running Lane

About

A Hard Shoulder Running (HSR) Lane, also known as Part Time Shoulder Use (PTSU) Lane, allows traffic to use the shoulder as a travel lane during peak travel times. This project is proposed from Route 711 (Huguenot Trail) to Route 6 along Route 288. This will relieve some of the congestion felt by motorists on Route 288. This project was recommended out of the Route 288 STARS Study conducted in 2018.
