Courthouse Sidewalk - Phase I

About

The Courthouse Village Small Area Plan that was approved by the Board of Supervisors in June 2023 called out the need for additional pedestrian facilities in the Courthouse Village. The Plan discussed a mix of sidewalk and trail projects to accomplish this goal. Phase I of this connectivity goal is underway. Goochland is seeking to build sidewalk along Route 6 where none exists today. This facility will connect Reed Marsh Drive to GoochlandCares. This will fill a substantial gap in our Courthouse Village sidewalk infrastructure.
