Goochland County values the participation of each citizen in all aspects of administering the County Government. Drawing upon the skills and knowledge of our County residents will ensure that all decisions are made in the best interest of the people. Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council Requirements  for Local Officers, Employees, Board/Commission/Committee Members

Prior to assuming office, participating on a Board/Commission/Committee, or taking employment, some persons must file an appropriate disclosure form and thereafter, must file annually.

 Stipend & Travel Reimbursement Effective December 6, 2005

The Board of Supervisors took action at its December 6, 2005 meeting to compensate individuals who serve on any board/commission, a minimum of $50 for each meeting attended, plus mileage reimbursement. 

The current reimbursement rate effective January 1, 2023 is $0.655 cents per mile, information can be found at the following link when a personal vehicle is used. Compensation form is below for submission to the County of Goochland, Attention: Accounts Payable,  P. O. Box 10, Goochland, VA 23063.
