Licenses go on sale November 1st at the Treasurer’s Office.
All dogs 4 months old and over are required to have licenses.
Original Rabies Certificate must be presented either in person or by mail before dog license can be issued.
Cost
Lifetime Dog License: $10 Available November 1, 2018 - The lifetime license will be valid for the lifetime of the dog for whom it was issued. Rabies vaccinations must remain current or the lifetime license will become invalid.
Multi- Dog licenses are available
1 to 20 dogs: $25
21 to 50 dogs: $50
All dogs and cats are required to have rabies vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian upon reaching 4 months of age.
Payment Options
Checks should be made out to Goochland County Treasurer and mailed to the Treasurer's Office.
