A Community Meeting has been scheduled for January 9^th at 6 p.m. at Luck Stone Rockville Shop located at 1950 Rockville Industrial Way, Rockville, Virginia 23146.  The meeting is for Pre-2022-00033 – application by Luck Stone Companies requesting a Conditional Use Permit for an Asphalt Mixing Plant on 11.27 acres at 2115 Ashland Rd on Tax Map 48-1-0-10-A. The property is zoned Industrial, General (M2). The Conditional Use Permit is required by Goochland County Zoning Ordinance Section Sec. 15-272. The Comprehensive Plan designates this area as industrial.

Note from Applicant:      Please be advised that the above referenced properties are the subject of an application to obtain a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to bring the existing use of an Asphalt Mixing Plant located at 2115 Ashland Rd. into conformance with current zoning ordinances. The existing use has been in place and legally functioning since the late 1970s. Over the last 40 years, County Zoning Ordinances have evolved, and the intent of this paper is to align the existing use with current code. There are no new changes to the use being requested, all existing buffers will remain intact, and there is no change to the current zoning (M2 – General Industrial).
