Angelia Miller has been named Young Professional of the Year by the Goochland County Chamber of Commerce. This award is intended to recognize a professional who has shown growth in their career, a strong commitment to serving the community, and demonstrates significant involvement with the Goochland Chamber.  

“I am grateful to be nominated and awarded the Young Professional of the Year award through the Goochland Chamber.”, said Angelia Miller. “Working in parks and recreation, I am able to work with an amazing team and serve the community. My goal in life is always how I can make a difference. I couldn't have earned this recognition without the support of my family, and my Parks and Recreation team in Goochland. I have worked hard over the years, and I cannot wait to keep making a difference.”

Miller began her career with Goochland County in 2019 as a Recreation Specialist, prior to becoming Assistant Director of Recreation in 2022. During her time with the department, she has worked to expand special events in the County and strengthen relationships with various community organizations.
