VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from February 23 - March 2, 2018.


Two projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Rt. 288 north between the James River Bridge and Broad Street - Pothole patching - March 1

There will be alternating lanes closed on Rt. 288 north between the James River Bridge and Broad Street from 8:30 p.m. - 6 a.m. on March 1 for pothole patching.


Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. - Utility work - February 26 - March 2

There will be alternating lanes closed on Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. February 26 - March 2 for utility work.
