[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of August 31 - September 7

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from August 31 - September 7, 2018.


The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will lift lane closures on most interstates and highways in Virginia for the Labor Day holiday from noon Friday, Aug. 31 until noon Tuesday, Sept. 4.


Two projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) at West Creek Pkwy - Signal work - September 4th

There will be alternating lanes closed on Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) at West Creek Pkwy. from noon - 5 p.m. on September 4 for signal work.

There will be alternating lanes closed on Patterson Avenue (Rt. 6) at West Creek Pkwy. from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. September 5 - 7 for signal work
