Goochland County Parks and Recreation offers up to $150 per participant per season to qualifying residents.
To apply for a scholarship, applicants must submit a completed registration form with proof of hardship. Proof of hardship includes: enrollment in a free or discounted lunch program through the school system or aid received from Social Services. Please note that scholarships may take up to two weeks to be processed. Once approved, $150 in assistance will be available per participant per season. Applicants must show proof of hardship for each season.
Goochland Community Action Agency also provides financial assistance for qualifying families for RECZone and Summer Camp programs.
