Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has notified the County that paving related work along River Road West (Rt. 6) in the Crozier Area will resume on Monday, April 17th. It will impact travel Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, according to the schedule the contractor is not working weekends.
During this time there will be alternating lane closures along River Road West (Rt. 6) between Cardwell Rd. (Rt. 670) and Dover Rd. (Rt. 642) for paving-related operations. The work zone will be a flagging operation with the use of a pilot truck, drivers can expect travel delays. Please use caution when traveling in the area and stay alert for changing traffic patterns.
