Welcome Truck 605!

Welcome Truck 605!

On Tuesday, December 31st, Station 5 proudly welcomed Ladder Truck 605, delivered by none other than Retired Chief Tommy Carter. It’s a full-circle moment, as Chief Carter introduced the first aerial ladder, Ladder 5, to the department 30 years ago.

Now, three decades later, he returns to deliver this incredible addition to the fleet. Truck 605 is a 2024 Pierce Enforcer Aerial Ladder, featuring:

  • 107’ aerial straight stick with a 1250 GPM automatic nozzle
  • 2000 GPM pump
  • 500-gallon water tank

This state-of-the-art apparatus replaces the 1993 Pierce Aerial Ladder, ensuring the department remains ready to serve the community with cutting-edge equipment.
