Firefly to Hold Virtual Town Hall

Firefly Fiber Broadband is holding a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, March 27th at 4 PM for the RISE Project ReConnect service zone to learn more about Firefly, ask questions, and find out how you can sign up for service.

Firefly’s RISE Project ReConnect service zone includes Goochland residents served by Dominion Energy who live in the designated area of Goochland stretching from the Courthouse Village along River Road West, Poorhouse Road, Turner Road, Maidens Road, and Whitehall Road out to Hadensville-Fife Road.

The Span Center Community Listening Session

The Span Center is your Area Agency on Aging. They are a non-profit that provides a wide range of services for older adults, caregivers, persons with disabilities, and their families. Most services are provided at NO COST to individuals thanks to Federal, State, and Private funding.

They need YOUR input on how they can best serve our community. Help define their priorities, learn about services, share your thoughts, questions, and suggestions.

Goochland County Board of Supervisors & School Board to Hold Joint Town Hall Meetings

Citizens are able to submit questions in advance of the Town Hall by emailing them to: townhall@goochlandva.us

Special Olympics Torch Run

CALLING ALL GOOCHLAND RESIDENTS: The Goochland County Sheriff's Office is extremely proud to host the Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics!

On May 9th, starting at 10:30am, we will run (or walk) from the Sheriff's office to the Goochland High School to light the torch for the Unified Track Meet. Please join our team to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Virginia!
