The Goochland County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, June 3rd as follows:

Document Shredding and Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The next Document Shredding and Household Hazardous Waste Collection event will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Goochland Fairground Property (intersection of Fairground Road and Sandy Hook Road). Must show proof of Goochland residency. Read more.

Deadline Extended for Goochland's Veterans Military Tribute Banner Program

Veterans Military Banner Program Deadline Extended to June 15th!

This program is designed to honor local Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reserve, and National Guard members; and is free to veterans’ families.

Public Utilities Conducing Infiltration and Inflow Study on Courthouse Sewer System

Beginning in June, the Goochland County Department of Public Utilities will be working with RK&K Civil Engineering and Duke’s to conduct an Infiltration and Inflow (I & I) Study on the sewer system in the Courthouse area.

The study is expected to take 60 days, depending on the weather. Once complete, the study will identify recommendations for repairs, rehabilitation, and/or replacement of substandard manholes and sewer lines. Read more.

Deadline to Request Absentee Ballot Approaching

There is one week left to request an Absentee Ballot to be sent to you for the 2025 June Democratic Primary Election. The deadline is Friday, June 6. Applications to request an Absentee Ballot can be returned to the Office of the General Registrar located at 1876 Sandy Hook Rd, Goochland, VA 23063, mailed to the General Registrar at PO Box 1013, Goochland, VA 23063, or by fax to 804-556-6323 or by email .
