Goochland County Planning Commission Meeting - September 18 2025

Next Planning Commission Meeting

The Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, September 18 at 6:30 PM.

Please note: This meeting will take place in the Goochland High School Auditorium.

November General Election - Early Voting Starts September 19

Early Voting for the 2025 General Election Begins on September 19

Election Day may be two months away, however in-person absentee early voting begins in Goochland County on September 19 at the Voter Satellite Office in the Goochland Sports Complex.

In-person absentee voting will be open during business hours Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm beginning on Friday, September 19 until Friday, October 31.

In-person absentee early voting special hours will also be available during the following special hours:

- Sunday, September 21 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
- Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Saturday, November 1 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Saturday, November 1 is the last day to vote early. Early voting will not be available on Monday, October 13, 2025, as the Registrar’s office and all County offices will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Goochland County is excited to announce two new additions to its leadership team. Elizabeth McDonald, P.E., has joined as Director of Public Utilities, and Austin Goyne has been hired as County Engineer. Read more.
