Upcoming Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Goochland County Board of Supervisors will meet on Thursday, November 6, 2025 as follows:

3:00 PM - Regular Business Meeting
6:30 PM - Public Hearings*

*Please note: The Public Hearings will be held in the Goochland High School Auditorium located at 3250 River Road West.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4

All polling places will be open 6am – 7pm. To find the polling place for your precinct visit www.goochlandva.us/vote.

Improved Search Feature Now Available

We are excited to share the new and improved search feature is now live on the Goochland County website!

This improvement comes directly from community input received during the creation of the 2023 Communications Plan, when many users expressed frustration with the useability of the website and search capabilities.

The County website redesign was completed during 2024, with continual improvement. This new search feature improves accuracy, suggests relevant search terms, and provides additional filtering to help you find the information you need.

Goochland County Department of Fire-Rescue & Emergency Services is one of 20 EMS agencies in Virginia, and 280 nationwide, who offer whole blood services to their community.
