The Goochland Sports Complex is an 8-acre facility consisting of several
athletic amenities. The GSC exterior facilities includes "Weed Whackers
Field" a fully irrigated and lighted football and baseball field
complete with grass infield. The Complex also includes a lighted
softball field, scoreboards, football and baseball press boxes, public
address system, concession stand with restrooms and the County's only
public skateboard park - Skate 522.
The interior Goochland Sports Complex facilities are home to the Recreation Division's administrative offices as well as dance studio, cardio room, weight room, classroom and comfortable lounge areas. The Complex interior also includes full sized gymnasium with hardwood floors.
The Goochland Sports Complex is home to Goochland Middle School baseball, softball, as well as Goochland Youth Athletic Association football, baseball and softball.
