  6. Goochland Boys Lacrosse

    Goochland County Boys Lacrosse is a youth lacrosse program for boys and in grades 1st through 8th grade. The lacrosse program will separate teams by the following grade levels 3/4th, 5/6th, and 7/8th. The program teaches the fundamentals of the sport of lacrosse and provides organized games with other lacrosse teams in the area. Practices will be held one or two nights a week depending on grade level with games on Saturdays. No practices or games during the week of Spring Break. We have some equipment available for players who might need equipment to play.

Junior Team Tennis promotes skill development, social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. You must register by March 6th.

  10. Goochland Adult Tennis Ladder

    Meet and compete against other area tennis players. Play on your own level whether you are a beginner or a 4.0 tournament player and play at your own convenience. Players set their own matches at their convenience and can play as often or as little as they want and wherever they want. Players are ranked on the ladder similarly to how the pros are ranked, by earning points. The more you play, the more points you receive to improve your ranking. Call the Recreation and Parks Department for additional information or to register for the Tennis Ladder.

  12. Goochland Senior Softball

    Goochland Forever Youth welcome you to Senior Softball. Men must be 55+ and Ladies 40+. The second most important qualification is you must have a desire to have fun playing ball with a great bunch of guys & gals from all walks of life. We have warm ups and batting practice at 9 AM every Wednesday from March (55 degree) until mid October. The warm ups are followed by a 7 inning scrimmage game with first pitch at 9:30. Cooler spring weather start time 10 AM, or 1 PM. Once a month Senior teams from Richmond & Charlottesville will travel here or us to them for two 7 inning double headers. Games are followed by lunch. If you haven?t played for 20-30 years, you are perfect! Safety is our #1 concern. You are encouraged to do stretching exercise before practice. Pitching screens are used during batting practice and regular games.
