Goochland has adjusted our Vaccination Clinic hours due to demand and is proud to offer our residents expanded afternoon walk-in hours for the COVID-19 vaccine this week.
We are accepting walk-ins at our Goochland Vaccination Clinic located at the Central High Cultural and Educational Complex at 2748 Dogtown Road, Goochland, VA 23063. Walk-in hours are Thursday, May 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On March 18th Governor Ralph Northam announced the award of $20.1 million in VATI broadband grants. Grants were awarded for 11 projects, connecting over 13,400 homes, businesses, and community institutions including a project in Goochland County.

The Goochland County Board of Supervisors, Economic Development Authority and Economic Development Department are excited to announce that the Goochland Back to Business grant program awarded over $156,000 in business grants to local Goochland businesses.
The grant program was funded by the federal CARES act money that was allocated to Goochland County and focused on reimbursing businesses the cost of complying with the Governor’s guidelines related to reopening businesses.

Goochland County has tapped Jessica Rice to serve as Director of Human Resources, effective Monday, January 4, 2021.
Ms. Rice comes to Goochland from Fluvanna County, where she worked as the Human Resources Manager since February 2018. She succeeds Kelly Parrish, who retired on December 31, 2020. Parrish served as Director for over 8 years.

On Wednesday, June 10th, Goochland County announced a newly expanded broadband partnership with Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC) and their wholly-owned subsidiary Central Virginia Services, Inc. (CVSI) which operates Firefly Fiber Broadband.
