Ways to Respond

By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census.

You will have three options for responding:

• Online - https://my2020census.gov  (Responding Online Guide)
• By phone – To begin, call 844-330-2020 (Responding by Phone Guide)
• By mail – To respond, mail back the paper questionnaire sent to your home. (Responding by Mail Guide)

The 2020 Census marks the first time you have the option to respond online. You can even respond on your mobile device.

We understand that not everyone has good broadband or cellular service at home. If you are responding online and need access to broadband, use one of the Goochland Area WiFi Hotspots at the county fire-rescue stations, the county administration building, or school buildings.
