[ARCHIVED] VDOT Contractor to Start Maintenance Replacement and Upgrading of Existing Markings

Upcoming VDOT Road Work - Maintenance Replacement and Upgrading of Existing Markings on the Road

Goochland County has been notified by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) that their contractor will start maintenance replacement and upgrading of existing markings throughout Goochland County the week of October 27, 2025. Most of the work will be performed along Patterson Avenue, River Road, and River Road West.

All work is dependent on weather and crew availability. Please use caution when traveling and stay alert for changing traffic patterns.
