Update as of 4:45 PM - Water Service Restored
Goochland County Department of Public Utilities has turned back on the water main and restored service to both Residential and Commercial customers along Ashland Road as of 4:45 PM on Tuesday, July 9th after performing emergency repairs.  

The temporary water shut off impacted residents of Parkside Village Subdivision, businesses located in the Lanier Business Park, and along Commerce Drive, Granite Ridge Road, and Greystone Court all of which have had service restored.

As a reminder, if after water service returns, you notice air in the lines or any discoloration, please run the water until it clears.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Department of Public Utilities at (804) 556-5835.

Update as of 3:30 PM

Goochland County Department of Public Utilities has extended the temporary shut off of the water main that services both Residential and Commercial customers along Ashland Road until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9th as they finish performing emergency repairs.  Crews are working to restore service as soon as possible. 

As a reminder, if after water service returns, you notice any discoloration, please run the water until it clears.

Goochland County Department of Public Utilities will be temporarily shutting off the water main that services both Residential and Commercial customers along Ashland Road to perform emergency repairs. This temporary water shut off will impact residents of Parkside Village Subdivision, businesses located in the Lanier Business Park, and along Commerce Drive,  Granite Ridge Road, and Greystone Court.

Water will be shut off on July 9^th, 2024, starting at 1:00 P.M. Work is expected to be completed, and water service returned by 3:00 P.M. If, after water service returns, you notice any discoloration, please run the water until it clears.
