[ARCHIVED] Section of Seay Road to Close for Pipe Replacement Project

Seay Road Closure

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Route 626 (Seay Road) between Route 621 (Manakin Road) and Route 654 (Shallow Well Road) for a pipe replacement project in Goochland County. Work will take place from 8 a.m. on Monday, August 11 through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12.  

Homeowners will maintain access to their property throughout the operation. 

Motorists should use the following detour:

Eastbound Traffic: From Route 626 (Seay Road) turn right onto Route 621 (Manakin Road), right onto Route 250 (Broad Street Road), right onto Route 654 (Shallow Well Road), right onto Route 626 (Seay Road). 

Westbound Traffic: From Route 626 (Seay Road) turn left onto Route 654 (Shallow Well Road), left onto Route 250 (Broad Street Road), left onto Route 621 (Manakin Road), left onto Route 626 (Seay Road).
