Dry hydrants in ponds, lakes, and streams throughout the county are a relied upon means of rural water supply to support fire suppression.
Cannon’s Service,LLC, will perform the preventive maintenance and inspection for this project. Additionally, a diver will conduct an underwater inspection of the piping and strainer. You will see them throughout the county over the next several weeks.
The dry hydrant inspections started in the eastern end of the county and will progress westward. Estimated project completion will be early summer.
