[ARCHIVED] Community Alert! Columbia Gas of VA to Conduct a Controlled Flaring in the Mosaic Subdivision

Goochland Community Alert! The County has been notified that Columbia Gas of VA will be doing a natural gas flaring operation on Cerulean Place in the Mosaic subdivision in eastern Goochland between now and midnight on Tuesday, February 20th. This is a controlled process that involves burning off the gas in the line and the community can expect to see a 15 ft. flame in the air. This is a safe process and there is no community cause for alarm.
