On
Tuesday, January 21st, the Goochland County Board of Supervisors votedunanimously to elect District 3 Supervisor Tom Winfree as Chair and District 1
Supervisor Jonathan Christy as Vice-Chair for 2025.

Mr. Winfree and Mr. Christy are serving as the Board’s Chair andVice-Chair for the first time. Both were elected in 2023, and began serving
their first term as supervisor on January 1, 2024. Mr. Winfree succeeds District 4 SupervisorCharlie Vaughters.

Goochland’s
Board of Supervisors holds an afternoon and evening meeting on the firstTuesday of each month. The specific start time of the afternoon meetings will
be set and publicized at least seven days before the meeting, while the eveningmeeting will begin at 6 P.M. The third Tuesday of each month is reserved for
additional meetings, should the need arise. Additional budget meetings andpublic hearings are scheduled in the months of February, March, and April.
