[ARCHIVED] Goochland County Christmas Holiday Closures

Goochland - Christmas Holiday Closures 2023

Goochland County Offices and Facilities will be closed for the upcoming Christmas Holiday.  Below are the specific closures for County offices and facilities.

County Offices & Facilities and Parks & Recreation Facilities – Noon, December 22nd – December 25th

Goochland County Offices & Facilities will be CLOSED starting at Noon on Friday, December 22nd through Monday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.  Offices & Facilities will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, December 26th. 

Goochland County Parks & Recreation Facilities will be CLOSED starting at Noon on Friday, December 22nd through Monday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.  Parks & Recreation Facilities will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, December 26th.

Convenience Centers 

Goochland County Convenience Centers will be CLOSED on Sunday, December 24th and Monday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.

Convenience Centers will reopen at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, December 26th.

Goochland Branch Library

The Goochland Branch Library and the Pamunkey Regional Library System will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday.

The Goochland Branch Library will reopen at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 27th. 

CVWMA Curbside Recycling

Central Virginia Waste Management Authority’s (CVWMA) residential curbside recycling will be delayed by a day the week of December 25 due to the Christmas holiday.   This holiday scheduled change affects Goochland’s RED Friday residential recyclers whose collection day as a result will occur on Saturday, December 30th.  For additional information on CVWMA’s Christmas Day Holiday Delay please visit https://cvwma.com/.

Residents are also encouraged to use recycling drop-off sites.  More information about drop-off recycling is at www.cvwma.com/dropoff.
