[ARCHIVED] Community Alert! Columbia Gas of VA to Conduct a Controlled Flaring in the Mosaic Subdivision

Community Alert - Columbia Gas of VA Flaring

Goochland Community Alert! The County has been notified that Columbia Gas of VA will be doing a natural gas flaring operation on Cerulean Place in the Mosaic subdivision in eastern Goochland between the evening of Wednesday, February 28th and the morning of Thursday, February 29th. Please stay tuned for any future updates.

This is a controlled process that involves burning off the gas in the line and the community can expect to see a 15 ft. flame in the air. This is a safe process and there is no community cause for alarm.
