Great Lakes Auto broke ground on its first Virginia dealership on November 1^st, Honda Short Pump, located on Broad Street in Goochland County.

This large investment is an example of the quality growth Goochland seeks and encourages.  Once complete, the dealership will bring new jobs and opportunities to Goochland; including opportunities with the School District’s Career and Technical Education program for students interested in automotive careers.

“This dealership represents quality development on Broad Street,” said Charlie Vaughters, Goochland County Board of Supervisors Chair, “on a parcel that was so limited in its potential that it was considered almost undevelopable.”  

“We are thrilled to welcome Great Lakes Honda to the Goochland business community.”, said Sara Worley, Director of Economic Development. “We are proud to support businesses like Great Lakes Honda which will bring new investment and jobs in our designated growth area”
