For the month of August, the Goochland Commissioner of the Revenue's Office is participating in the 7th Annual Commissioner and Cans Food and Fund Drive. This drive is a friendly competition between Commissioner of the Revenue offices in Virginia who have joined together to raise food and funds for local food banks throughout the Commonwealth.

They are collecting non-perishable items in their office through August 31st that will be provided to our local food pantry at GoochlandCares. Drop off locations: Commissioner of the Revenue’s office located in Suite 220.

In addition, monetary donations to Feed More to purchase food can be made through August 12^th.

Most Needed Items Include:

• Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Ham)

• Canned Vegetables

• Canned Fruits (low sugar)

• Peanut Butter & Jelly

• Macaroni and Cheese

• Hearty Meaty Soup

• Pasta & Sauces

• Cereal, Oatmeal

• Condiments and Spices
