VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from January 5 - 12, 2018.


Two projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


I-64 East at mile marker 170 - Guardrail repairs - January 8th - 12th
The left lane will be closed on I-64 east at mile marker 170 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. January 8 - 12 for guardrail repairs.


Maidens Rd. (Rt. 634) between River Rd. and Courthouse Creek - Bridge inspection - January 10th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Maidens Rd. (Rt. 634) between River Rd. and Courthouse Creek. From 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on January 10 for a bridge inspection.
