VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from February 16 - 23, 2018.


Six projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Rt. 288 north between the James River Bridge and Broad Street  - Pothole patching - February 22

The right lane will be closed on Rt. 288 north between the James River Bridge and Broad Street from midnight - 2 a.m. on February 22 for pothole patching.


Rt. 288 north at Broad Street - Bridge Inspection - February 22

The right lane will be closed on Rt. 288 north at Broad Street from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on February 22nd for a bridge inspection.


I-64 east between Hadensville (mile marker 152) and mile marker 174 - Pothole patching - February 21

There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east between Hadensville (mile marker 152) and mile marker 174 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 a.m. February 21 for pothole patching.


Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) west at Three Chopt Rd. - Utility work - February 19 - 23

The right lane will be closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) west at Three Chopt Rd. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. February 19 - 23 for utility work.


Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Broad Street Rd. and Goins Rd. - Utility work - February 19 - 23

There will be alternating lanes closed on Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Broad Street Rd. and Goins Rd. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. February 19 - 23 for utility work.


Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. - Utility work - February 19 - 23

There will be alternating lanes closed on Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. February 19 - 23 for utility work.
