Goochland County Administrator John A. Budesky will present the proposed Fiscal Year 2019 County Budget to the Goochland County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, February 20th.
The
Board's Budget Session meeting to receive the budget will begin at 3 p.m.
Other budget presentations will follow, including the proposed School
budget presented by Dr. Jeremy Raley, Superintendent, and the proposed Public
Safety budgets including the Sheriff’s Office, Fire-Rescue, and Animal
Protection.
The
Board’s consideration of the FY19 budget continues on February 27th
and March 6th both starting at 3 p.m., and March 13th
starting at 7 p.m.
Town
Hall meetings, which will include discussions on the FY19 Budget, will be held
on March 7th (Districts 4 & 5), March 20th (District
1), and March 28th (Districts 2 & 3). The public is invited to attend any or all
the Town Hall meetings.
The
public hearing on the budget and tax rates will be held on April 3rd
at 7 p.m. Adoption of the budget and tax
rates is scheduled for 3 p.m. on April 17th. All meetings are open to the public.
