[ARCHIVED] Funeral for Goochland County Supervisor Ned S. Creasey set for March 17

The funeral for Goochland County Supervisor Ned S. Creasey will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at Goochland County High School at 3250-A River Road West.

Graveside Service will be held following the funeral at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue.


Mr. Creasey’s family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 15 at Salem Baptist Church in Crozier, VA from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

 

Mr. Creasey passed away March 10, he was 74 and had begun his 11th year of service as District 3’s supervisor.  He was the Board of Supervisors’ longest-serving active member, joining the Board of Supervisors in January 2008 and recently completed his second term as the boards’ chairman in 2017.

 

He will forever be remembered for his relentless passion, service, and dedication to Goochland County.  He is survived by his wife, Diana; sons Scott, Shawn, and Steven; daughters Tonia and Teresa; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
