This year's attendees will receive information on, among other topics:
- Surviving an active shooter/active assailant event
- Bleeding control
- Opioid abuse and overdoses
- Cyber security
- Weather related events
- Emergency notifications
Individuals who stay until the completion of the event will receive a backpack (one per family) that contains items to help in the event of an emergency.
Pre-registration for this event is required, and individuals may register by visiting http://www.survivorday.com/event_registration.php or by calling Angela Merciez at the Fire-Rescue Administration Office at (804) 556-5344.
