VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from June 30 - July 6, 2018.

No projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.

Fourth of July - Construction and Maintenance

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will suspend road work during the Fourth of July travel period to reduce congestion and help travelers reach their holiday destinations. VDOT will lift lane closures on most interstates and highways in Virginia from noon Tuesday, July 3 until noon Thursday, July 5. For more information, visit
