The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from October 12 - 19, 2018.
Six projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County. The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.
Rt. 288 north between I-95 and I-64 - Highway Lighting Repairs - October 14 - 16
There will be alternating lanes closed on Rt. 288 north between I-95 and I-64 from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. Oct. 14 - 16 for highway lighting repairs.
I-64 east between mm 163 and Oilville (mm167) - Paving - October 18
There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east between mile marker 163 and Oilville (mile marker 167) from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. on October 18 for paving.
I-64 east between mms 151 - 206 - Pavement marking - October 14 - 16
There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east between mms 151 and 206 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Oct. 14-16 for pavement marking.
I-64 west between mms 222 and 151 - Pavement Marking - October 14 - 16
There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 west between mile markers 222 and 151 from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. October 14 - 16 for pavement marking.
Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east between Elpis Church Rd. and Fairground Rd. - Paving - October 14 - 18
There will be alternating lanes closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east between Elpis Church Rd. and Fairgrounds Rd. from 9:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. October 14 - 18 for paving.
Shallow Well Rd. (Rt. 641) near Dover Rd. - Pipe Replacement - October 15 - 16
Shallow Well Rd. (Rt. 641) will be closed near Dover Rd. continuously from 8 a.m. October 15 - 3:30 p.m. October 16 for a pipe replacement project. Use posted detour. More: http://bit.ly/2blNI1f
