The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from April 5 - 12, 2019.
Seven projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County. The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.
River Rd. (Rt. 6) between Beaverdam Creek Rd. and Cardwell Rd. - Utility Work - April 8th
There will be alternating lanes closed on River Rd. (Rt. 6) between Beaverdam Creek Rd. and Cardwell Rd. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on April 8 for utility work.
Turner Rd. (Rt. 672) between Poor House Rd. and Maidens Rd. - Paving - April 8th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Turner Rd. (Rt. 672) between Poor House Rd. and Maidens Rd. from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on April 8 for paving.
Oakland Church Rd. (Rt. 701) between Broad Street Rd. and Dongola Rd. - Paving - April 8th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Oakland Church Rd. (Rt. 701) between Broad Street Rd. and Dongola Rd. from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on April 8 for paving.
Elpis Church Rd. (Rt. 636) between Broad Street Rd. and Pony Farm Rd. - Paving - April 9th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Elpis Church Rd. (Rt. 636) between Broad Street Rd. and Pony Farm Rd. from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on April 9 for paving.
Pony Farm Rd. (Rt. 702) between Elpis Church Rd. and Perkinsville Rd. - Paving - April 9th

Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Oilville Rd. - Paving - April 6th - 12th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Oilville Rd. from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on April 6 - 12 for paving.
