The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from April 12 - 19, 2019.
Three projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County. The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.
I-64 east between Shannon Hill Rd. (mm 148) and Rt. 288 (mm 175) - Vegetation control - April 16 -18
The left lane will be closed on I-64 east between Shannon Hill Rd. (mile marker 148) and Rt. 288 (mile marker 175) from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. April 16 - 18 for vegetation control.
River Rd. (Rt. 6) between Beaverdam Creek Rd. and Cardwell Rd. - Utility Work - April 15th
There will be alternating lanes closed on River Rd. (Rt. 6) between Beaverdam Creek Rd. and Cardwell Rd. from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. on April 15 for utility work.
Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Oilville Rd. - Paving - April 15th
There will be alternating lanes closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Oilville Rd. from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. April 15 for paving.
