[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of May 31st - June 7th, 2019

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from May 31st - June 7th, 2019.

Three projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.

I-64 between mile markers 147 - 225 - Pavement marking - June 2 - 5

There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 between mile markers 147 - 225 from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. June 2 - 5 for pavement marking.

I-64 east between mile markers 169 - 171 - Guardrail repairs - June 3

The left lane will be closed on I-64 east between mile markers 169 - 171 from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. June 3 for guardrail repairs.

Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico County line - Paving - May 31

There will be alternating lanes closed on Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico county line from 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. May 31 for paving.

Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico County line - Paving - June 2 - 5

There will be alternating lanes closed on Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico county line from 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. June 2 - 5 for paving.

Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico county line - Paving - 3 - 7

There will be alternating lanes closed on Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) near the Goochland/Henrico county line from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. June 3 - 7 for paving.
