[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of July 12 - 19, 2019

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from July 12 - 19, 2019.

Four projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.

Rt. 288 Powhatan/Goochland county line and Patterson Ave - Pothole patching - July 16

The right lane will be closed on Rt. 288 Powhatan/Goochland county line and Patterson Ave. from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. July 16 for pothole patching.

Rt. 288 north near Broad St./Rt. 250 - Sweeping - July 14 - 18

There will be alternating lanes closed on Rt. 288 north near Broad St./Rt. 250 from 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. July 14 - 18 for sweeping.

Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east between Goochland/Henrico county line and Cross Country Rd. (Rt. 522) - Pavement marking - July 12

There will be alternating lanes closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east between Goochland/Henrico county line and Cross Country Rd. (Rt. 522) from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. July 12 for pavement marking.

Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) east between the Goochland/Henrico county line and Boscobel Ferry Rd. - Pavement marking - July 12

There will be alternating lanes closed on Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) east between the Goochland/Henrico county line and Boscobel Ferry Rd. from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. July 12 for pavement marking.
