The focus of the initial clinics is on vaccinating senior citizens 75 years and older as well as 65 years and older with underlying health conditions. It is important to note that no walk-ins will be taken at these events; clinics are by APPOINTMENT ONLY scheduled by the Chickahominy Health District. The first step in getting your appointment is pre-registering. Instructions for pre-registering are listed below and can also be found here.
On Thursday, March 4th, Goochland County vaccinated approximately 234 individuals over a four-hour event. These weekly vaccination clinics will initially vaccinate 200 to 250 individuals per week through the month of March and will expand capacity as vaccine supply allows. The local weekly vaccination clinics expand upon regional vaccination opportunities for Goochland citizens, which include events at the Richmond Raceway, HCA’s West Creek Emergency Center, Randolph Macon College, Hanover County, and New Kent County.

Goochland County has been an active participant in the regional vaccination efforts helping to staff the Richmond Raceway and HCA’s West Creek Emergency Center with county employees and members of Goochland County Fire-Rescue and Emergency Services. In addition, county employees have been staffing the Chickahominy Health District/Hanover County COVID-19 Call Center.
