Goochland's RED Friday residential recycling through Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) may be delayed on Friday, September 24th. Residential recyclers should put out their containers on collection day and leave them out until collected.

Due to driver and helper shortages, CVWMA has experienced residential recycling collection delays over the past couple weeks. Crews have been making up ground to get back on schedule.

All of Goochland’s RED Friday residential recyclers should put out their container on Friday, Sept. 24th (collection day) for it to be collected.  Please be aware, CVWMA estimates collections may be delayed until Saturday, Sept. 25th, recyclers should leave the container out until it is collected or visit a drop-off recycling location.

In Goochland, drop-off recycling is accepted at both the Central and Western Convenience Centers which are open Monday - Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
