[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: CVWMA Residential Recycling Collection Delay in Goochland; Pickup to Finish Jan. 21st

CVWMA - Temporary Schedule Change - Jan 18 2022

Central Virginia Waste Management Authority is experiencing a delay in residential curbside recycling pickup. They announced on 1/18 Goochland's Red Friday (Jan. 14th) recycling pickup will occur on Thursday, Jan. 20th and finish on Friday, Jan. 21st .

Residential curbside recyclers can leave their recycling containers out if they would like or bring them in and take them back out by 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 20th and leave them out until picked up on Friday, January 21st.  Residents can also take advantage of drop-off recycling locations to dispose of their recycling.

In Goochland, drop-off recycling is accepted at both the Central and Western Convenience Centers which are open Monday-Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
