[ARCHIVED] CSX to Close Cartersville Road (Route 45) in Goochland from March 14 to March 17

VDOT Road Closed Sign

The James River Bridge to Cartersville will not be accessible during this time. Drivers can use the posted detour below during the closure:

Northbound Cartersville Rd. (Rt. 45): Take Columbia Rd. (Rt.690) north to River Rd. (Rt. 6) east back to Cartersville Rd.

Southbound Cartersville Rd. (Rt. 45): Take River Rd. (Rt. 6) west to Columbia Rd. (Rt. 690) south back to Cartersville Rd.

Anyone with questions about the project can call VDOT’s customer service center at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).
