The public is invited to share comments on transportation projects that have been scored and recommended for funding through the SMART SCALE prioritization process based on an objective and data-driven analysis. Additionally, pursuant to §33.2-202, comments will be accepted for new projects valued in excess of $25 million.
The Commonwealth Transportation Board will take your comments into consideration as it develops the Six-Year Improvement Program (FY 2018-2023 SYIP). The program allocates public funds to highway, road, bridge, rail, bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation projects. All federally eligible projects in the SYIP will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to document how Virginia will obligate its federal funds.

Public meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. in each of the locations except as noted below: A formal comment period will be held at these meetings. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you may view the displays and provide your comments on line.
