Goochland - Fourth of July holiday 2022

Goochland County Offices and Convenience Centers

Goochland County Offices and Convenience Centers will be closed on Monday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday.

Goochland County Parks & Recreation

Goochland County Parks & Recreation Facilities will be closed on Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday.  There will be no summer camp or programming on Monday, July 4th.

Goochland Branch Library

The Goochland Branch Library and the entire Pamunkey Regional Library System will be closed on Monday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday.

Goochland County Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

Goochland Parks and Recreation - Fourth of July Fireworks  2022

Join Goochland County for an annual tradition, the 2022 Goochland County Fireworks on Monday, July 4th!  Fireworks will be shot off between the Goochland High and Elementary lots and can be seen at a variety of places throughout the Courthouse Village. Parking opens at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.  For full details including parking information please click here.

Please be prepared for extensive traffic delays before and after the event.  Local road closures will be enacted based on traffic conditions and event parking capacity.  Please check and follow Goochland County Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/GoochlandParksandRec/ for up to the minute parking and weather announcements. Rain date for the event is July 5th.
